What is Polarity Therapy OR Polarity Healing?
  • Polarity Therapy teaches that the causes of physical ailments lay in the energy fields, while symptoms/ailments/pain are effects in the physical body.  By applying the various principles and techniques of Polarity Therapy energy blocks are restored to a natural flow, and balance is restored.
  • Energy blocks are caused by stress, pain, and/or disease
  • Polarity Therapy is a combination of energy bodywork, diet, exercise and mindfulness awareness
  • Polarity Therapy is based on Ayurvedic and Oriental traditions
  • Polarity Therapy sessions last about 60 minutes
  • Sessions do not require undressing
  • Sessions consist of verbal interaction, light to medium energetic touch--sometimes no touch at all
  • Clients experience a variety of sensations such as body warmth, tingling, lightness and/or relaxation
  • Proper breathing and breathwork is also an important part of Polarity

THIS CHART WILL GIVE YOU A VERY BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE ELEMENTS IN POLARITY.  Polarity teaches that we are each made up of life energy, and this energy is composed of five elements:  ether, air, fire, water, and earth.  When all of the elements are in balance, the foundation for well-being, creativity, flexibility, and clarity is available to us.
